WHAT IS OLD IS NEW AGAIN.

It seems like people giving their notice at work is contagious. I did the same thing or more correctly I will be doing that tomorrow morning. I have had enough of my current job. It is boring, mind numbingly boring. I am basically in a file room by myself all day long. My boss or someone else occasionally walks in to do or get something. I get files, I put back files I scan files I send files to off site storage. Files, files, and more files. The part that drives me nuts is being by myself. There is no one to talk to when it is slow which isn’t always but it happens enough to drive me up a wall. Even the stuff I do when it is busy is monotonous. The days drag by at a snails pace and I end up watching the clock which just doesn't help. So I have been miserable at my new job, hating it.

It isn't all 100% bad. I like the people they are all for the most part very nice. It is a good company with excellent benefits. I also get to have lunch on a regular basis with A. If the job is fucking terrible all the perks in the world won’t help.

So, I reached out to my old company because I new that they would possibly be looking. The company was growing in size. They were acquiring another company and the number of employees was getting larger. They are in three separate buildings. It turns out that my nhadhade come up before I reached out to them. So end of story I am going back to my old company in a somewhat combined roll of mailroom and facilities. Mostly it will be mailroom but I don’t care. I get to go back to the same salary, benefits and vacation. It will be the whole nine yards, like I never left. I am very excited about going back. I really can’t wait. I missed the people. I missed the company. I missed the job. I missed it all. Now I am going back. Hopefully it is the right decision, I believe it is, at least the right decision for me.

Peace out.

When we had to put Snickers to sleep because of her being so sick we had decided to have her cremated. She came to us via UPS and she was in a little wooden box. It also came with a brochure with the different urns and boxes you could purchase, a place to keep the cremains. We were not going top buy any of those we have a metal tin that I purchased a few years ago in England. It is in the shape of a delivery truck. It originally contained bite sized knickers candy so that is what it says on the side of the truck. Snickers. We thought it was an appropriate place to put her and she now sits on the desk along with her ceramic paw print that the vet made for us.

Along with the brochure came a card with the following little poem on it.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
